Described as "charismatic,” "honest" and “a vocal powerhouse,” 25 year old singer songwriter Ashley Jordan has performed her music across the U.S. and has had the honor of supporting artists such as Trace Adkins, Sam Hunt, Chase Rice, Rusted Root, Jason Mraz, Phillip Phillips, Christina Perri, O.A.R., Magic!, Alex Preston, Crystal Bowersox, Howie Day and more!  With several high-profile performances as well as a host of major regional awards, Ashley shows no signs of slowing down. Ashley has performed for audiences as large as 40,000, and in 2015 her song “Angels” received a first-round Grammy nomination. Ashley was selected for a second time as a top ten finalist in Nash Next 2017, and won "Country Artist of the Year" in the coveted Boston Music Awards in Dec. of 2017.

In 2016, Ashley finished recording a fourth album (“He’s Crazy”) of all original music and immediately caught the attention of Boston’s premiere radio station WBMX (MIX 104.1 FM).  Calling her new album “a masterpiece," Matthew Reid (Music Director and on-air personality at WBMX) stated: “My favorite album of 2015? Adele’s 25.  My favorite album of 2016, so far? Boston singer/songwriter and Open MixFest 2014 Winner, Ashley Jordan’s He’s Crazy.”  Also in late 2016 (and again in late 2017), Ashley competed in “Nash Next” competitions hosted by Nash Icon radio and won local and regional contests to eventually be named a 2-time top ten finalist from across the nation and earning a spot to perform in Nashville.  In 2016 she performed for Scott Borchetta of Big Machine Records, Kix Brooks of Brooks and Dunn, Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts  and Danielle Bradbery from the Voice; in 2017 she performed for Scott Borchetta, Kix Brooks, Country Artist Brantley Gilbert and Music Legend, Desmond Child. Desmond Child said of Ashley’s 2017 performance, “That’s like the music I grew up with…like I used to go see Janis Joplin at these big festivals and you have that feeling about you…”

The full story…

Ashley spent her summers as a young child in the Ozark Mountains with her maternal grandparents listening to and singing country music.  Her paternal grandfather was a country-folk singer-songwriter and at a young age Ashley grew to love homespun country music.  Ashley got her start at the age of 13 as a busker (street-performer) on the streets of Harvard Square in Boston, MA.  Her guitar playing, vocals and original music caught the attention of local venues who noted the crowds that gathered to listen to her perform.  She soon moved from the streets to the stage!  At the age of 16, Ashley released her first album of original music titled “Simple Love” and quickly found herself featured in many of New England’s most popular independent music publications. Just under two years later, she released her second album “Liquid Words” and debuted her new unique mix of original music. Ashley appeared on the cover of Metronome Magazine and was selected for the annual “Top Twenty Hit List” for two years in a row! Doug Sloan of Metronome stated that “Ashley Jordan has grown to be a multi-talented tour de force. At nineteen years old she’s twice the songwriter than most, as she sings her beautiful crafted tales of life and love with a gorgeous voice that’s filled with stirring emotion… with two top notch albums to her credit, a powerfully emotive voice and stellar song crafting skills, Ashley Jordan is destined for stardom.”

In 2013, Ashley filmed a music video for her original song "If I Had You" which was selected to be televised regularly on the Nashville Network (The Heartland) beginning in November in the "Rising Star, Top Ten Videos of the Year.”  Shortly thereafter, Ashley released her third album titled "Nothing In Doubt" and Boston pop-radio station Mix 104.1 selected her song "If I Had You" as one of its "Best of 2013,” touting Ashley's newest album as "a great album...standing up to Nashville's best." After competing against musicians from across New England in 2014, Ashley was selected by judges at one of Boston's Hit Radio Stations to open their annual summer MIXFEST Concert at the Hatch Shell in Boston.  With an audience of 40,000 in attendance, Ashley dazzled concertgoers with her original songs.

Ashley achieved many notable awards in 2015, most importantly her single "Angels" received a first round Grammy nomination in the pop/solo category.  She was later selected by Pulse Magazine as the "Best Female Vocalist" and "Best Solo/Acoustic Act" of 2015 and performed at after-parties for artists such as Sam Hunt and Chase Rice.  After winning four coveted titles at the 2016 Pulse Magazine Awards, Ashley also completed her fourth album of all original music called “He’s Crazy” and received high praise from radio stations such as WBMX Boston: “Ashley’s new album is SO GOOD that we’re featuring it every evening this week”…“You don’t understand how good this album is… Yet. But you will !!”  In addition, Ashley was selected to perform a 45-minute set as an opener for Country sensation Trace Adkins at Indian Ranch in September, 2016.  In late 2016 (and again in 2017), Ashley also made a huge impact at NASHICON radio as part of their Nash Next radio competition.  She was named one of their TOP TEN finalists from across the nation for two years in a row!  Ashley brought 2017 to a close by winning the 2017 BMA's as "Country Artist of the Year".

In 2018, Ashley continues to rock the Boston Music scene and beyond - and also recently won a record of SIX awards at the Pulse Magazine Music awards (including Country Artist of the Year, Best Album of the Year, Best Music Video of the Year and more!).  The Boston Globe said “'Country music' might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think Boston, but Harvard Square busker turned rising goddess of twang ASHLEY JORDAN might be out to prove you wrong. Expect foot-stompers and ballads with equal measures of charm and grit from this 2017 Boston Music Awards Country Artist of the Year. ”
